Reclaim Finance is a non-governmental research and campaigning organization. It was founded by Lucie Pinson, winner of the 2020 Goldman Environmental Prize, with the aim of making finance work for the climate.
Climate change is accelerating, with increasingly violent impacts threatening the lives of thousands of people and species. If nothing is done to reduce greenhouse gas emissions (GHG), the victims will soon be in the millions.
Finance is a critical lever in the fight against climate change. But today, mainstream finance remains at odds with the objectives of social and climate justice.
Reclaim Finance intends to play a role of citizen counter-power because the current action is not enough. We therefore follow and analyze the activities of financial actors to propose an alternative deciphering and expose their real impacts.
