ESIL is aiming to boost the innovation and investment ecosystems in the European Union by supporting angel investing communities. In 2024, a new program is starting to focus particularly on countries where angel investing is less advanced: Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Romania, Poland and Hungary. ESIL is especially focusing on mentoring women and young investors and supporting investment in diversity.
The vision of the initiative is to empower the changing face of European angel investment and reinforce the gender parity of investors.
The project is run by a consortium composed of META Group,BAEandBpifrance. ESIL is funded by the European Union.
