The Nature-based Solutions Network (NBSN) is an interdisciplinary initiative to boost collaboration in research and education for advancing nature-based solutions.

We are based at the Department of Landscape Architecture, Planning and Management (LAPF), and the Department of People and Society (IMS) at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU). Our vision is to build on the history of SLU as a leading international university providing research, education and environmental assessment within the sciences for sustainable life – across a range of areas including agriculture and forestry, urban and rural landscapes, and climate, water and biodiversity. Moreover, our aim is to encourage and develop a mix of initiatives in relation to education and research that embrace an interdisciplinary approach.
