Ethanol is better for the environment, the economy, and our national security. Ethanol is a renewable, sustainable fuel. It reduces greenhouse gas emissions by as much as 59 percent compared to gasoline from well to wheel. Using higher blends will reduce harmful pollution even more. Ethanol employs hundreds of thousands of Americans and with every billion gallon made, another 10,000 to 20,000 jobs are created.
