Stack Carbon is a climate tech startup pioneering a revolutionary model for community-led carbon removal in Africa that puts smallholder farmers at the center. By leveraging two carbon dioxide removal solutions uniquely suited to rural Africa – enhanced rock weathering and biochar – we entwine urgent atmospheric carbon removal with regeneration of degraded croplands and economic empowerment of marginalized groups.
