A research group(lab) established and led by Anish Ghimire, Assistant Professor, Environmental Engineering and Management Program at the Asian Institute of Technology. The RE3L was previously started at the Department of Environmental Science and Engineering, Kathmandu University in Nepal. The research group focused on resource recovery, waste biomass to energy, anaerobic fermentations, water and waste(water) treatments, Greenhouse Gas Modeling, Sustainability Assessments and Life Cycle Assessments.
