Carbulator is a free online calculator available at https://carbulator.org/. It can be used to calculate the greenhouse gas impact of an animation studio’s production activities. It incorporates an approach and terminology specific to the animation sector. Carbulator is derived from ADEME’s Bilan Carbone tool, whose method is widely recognized. With Carbulator, the aim is to help each studio quickly and simply calculate its carbon footprint, that of its facilities and that of its current, future and past productions, according to scientific and regulatory criteria, in order to present comparable results and improve its practices.
