Adapt40 is a specialist climate adaptation consultancy. We deliver practical solutions and technical assistance to organisations across the public and private sectors, enabling them to act at the required pace to protect climate-vulnerable communities and ecosystems by 2040 across Asia-Pacific, Europe, Africa and the Caribbean.
Why Adapt40? 2040 was the year that the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change predicted we would reach human-induced global warming of 1.5°C. Since that prediction (made in 2018), the science indicates we might reach the 1.5°C threshold much sooner. Therefore, climate action needs to be fast-tracked, and Adapt40’s focus is to support that transformation.
