Groundwater Management Associates, Inc. (GMA) was founded by Dr. Richard Spruill in 1986 and was incorporated in 1989. GMA is a well-respected hydrogeologic and engineering consulting firm with two offices in North Carolina. Primary areas of expertise include evaluation and development of groundwater resources, and assessment and remediation of environmental contamination. Our professional staff has approximately 270 years of combined experience, and includes nine licensed professional geologists (P.G.), two professional engineers (P.E.), and technical and office support staff. Four of our professional staff are North Carolina Certified Well Contractors and one is a Registered Site Manager (RSM) under the North Carolina Inactive Hazardous Waste Site REC Program.
