The Economic Relations Division (ERD) of Bangladesh, under the Ministry of Finance, leads the mobilization and coordination of international climate finance to support sustainable development. The International Climate Finance Cell (ICFC), established within ERD, works to strategically access and manage climate finance from bilateral, regional, and multilateral sources. By identifying and prioritizing climate projects, engaging with key stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with international funding requirements, the ICFC strengthens Bangladesh’s ability to secure and utilize climate finance effectively. Through collaboration and policy alignment, the ICFC contributes to a low-carbon, climate-resilient future.
