The Nigeria Off-grid Market Acceleration Program (NoMAP) is an independent market accelerator tasked with tackling inadequately addressed market barriers limiting the growth of the off-grid sector in Nigeria. The program is funded by USAID’s Scaling Off-grid Energy (SOGE) and the Shell Foundation .
The Program builds on an intensive research on the market challenges in the renewable energy space in Nigeria and in its first year is focused on two high-impact initiatives.
• Pilot off-grid payment system for last mile collection for SHS companies
• Build market intelligence/data for mini-grids development and SHS deployment.
