Rize’s mission is to accelerate the adoption of sustainable agriculture thanks to environmental data and sustainable finance.
Sustainable farming has a huge potential for mitigating climate change. Regenerative agriculture also contributes to restoring biodiversity and soils health, a key asset for our long term food system resilience, while bringing along a number of additional environmental benefits (protection to erosion, water pollution mitigation, climate adaptation…).
Rize provides a platform where farmers can understand their carbon footprint, create an action plan and fund their projects thanks to carbon certificates.
Our platform is based on an advanced MRV infrastructure (Monitoring – Reporting – Verification): our proprietary technology uses satellite, crop, and soil data to accurately measure emissions reductions and carbon stored in soils. This enables us to ensure that farms carbon action is tangible and timely.
By generating carbon certificates on behalf of farmers who adopt sustainable practices, we support the transition towards a greener agriculture and provide additional revenue streams for regenerative farms.
