Green Restoration Ireland (GRI) is an Environment Non-Profit based in Ireland. GRI which was established in 2019. We have been developing innovative approaches to pay farmers for restoring damaged peatlands and other farm habitats. This includes Ireland’s first on-farm paludiculture (wetland agriculture or wetter farming) trials and a wide range of other carbon farming measures and nature-based solutions.

The Peatlands for Prosperity is a project co-funded by the EU Just Transition Programme and the Government of Ireland. Farm Carbon & Farm Carbon Transitions European Innovation Partnership (EIP) are programmes co-funded by the European Union and the Department of Agriculture, Food and Marine.
