Keenan Recycling is the UK’s largest commercial food waste collection company, with nationwide coverage! We collect food waste on behalf of waste management companies, brokers and councils. We also service all business that generate food waste. We operate the largest food waste collection fleet, and uniquely offer bin weighing on every bin lift collections, along with a bin rinsing service on selected routes. Our food waste is then turned into biofuel through the anaerobic digestion process and turned into renewable energy.
In the North of Scotland, we own and operate the largest vertical composting unit in Europe for food and garden waste.
We are developing a Net Zero Transition Plan and have a clear aim to create a sustainable zero carbon food waste collection business and have committed to replacing our existing diesel fuelled vehicles with alternative renewable technologies by 2030.
