Currently implementing the ‘Neo-X’, a smart Incinerator that deals with reject (non-recyclable) waste efficiently; at source, using highly efficient combustion. Trying to ensure a zero landfill and net-zero emissions landscape.
This is technology that reaches temperatures of 1200°C under 2 minutes, using 0.15 units (less than ₹1) of electricity per burn-cycle.
This process of handling reject-waste can reduce various greenhouse gas emissions by 300 times compared with current standard methods of disposal; primarily landfilling/open burning/illegal dumping or centralised Incineration methods.
This has a direct impact on CO2 release through transport (60% of all waste management costs) and through Inefficient burning (at ~400ºC). This also helps reduce NOx, Dioxins, Furans, NH3 and Sulphur levels to nearly nothing.
Zero landfills can be achieved only through decentralised handling of all waste produced. Our incinerators dispose of all reject-waste (sanitary, biomedical, contaminated fabric, packaging) which has no economic value for recycling, ensuring that recyclables and wet waste can be collected and profitably processed.
