Obligo is an Nordic investment, and asset management company located in Oslo and Stockholm. We manage direct and indirect investments in real estate, shipping, infrastructure and private equity, as well as providing business- and fund administration services.
At Obligo, our experience is that doing good business and solving environmental and social challenges go hand in hand to create financial opportunities and deliver value to our investors. If we are to deliver the emissions reductions necessary to transition to net zero, greater national decarbonization pledges backed by clear action plans are urgently needed. As investors, we have the responsibility and power to allocate capital to help deliver the critical 1.5°C pathway. Therefore, we launched our third infrastructure fund with a focus on climate impact late last year. This fund will only invest in climate change mitigation projects and will contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions aligned to the Paris-agreement while reducing investors’ climate risk.
Our 30 employees have an average of more than 15 years experience within investment and asset management, project finance, corporate finance, risk management and investor relations. Obligo is an independent advisory firm, 100% owned by management. Obligo Investment Management is a regulated AIF manager under supervision of the Norwegian FSA.
