ETIA, Evaluation Technologique, Ingénierie et Applications, was founded in 1989 by two engineers who developed an innovative and patented continuous heat treatment technology for the food industry. The application quickly spread to industries, covering not only food processing, but also biomass and industrial residues, as well as chemical powders and minerals.
Since 2003, ETIA has offered the Biogreen technology: a robust, reliable and continuous pyrolysis process. Our system is equipped with an electrically heated Spirajoule screw, which allows fossil-free use, ensures efficient and stable conversion, and guarantees precise control of operating parameters.
The knowledge and expertise of the company are recognized worldwide.
Since 2019, ETIA has been part of VOW, a listed Norwegian group specializing in technologies and processes for reducing the carbon footprint in industry, as well as limiting CO2 emissions on earth and in oceans.
