Afrinet Carbon is an African startup company that seeks to aid in global efforts of sustainability by linking small business holders, farmers and entrepreneurs all over Africa with the global carbon trading market whilst encouraging them to further contribute to global restoration efforts by adopting sustainable strategies in their day to day operations. Our vision is to have a world where small business owners, farmers and entrepreneurs have a part to play in global sustainability efforts hence our mission is to increase understanding and adoption of carbon emissions reductions strategies that help organizations reduce their carbon footprints while elevating their financial status.

Established in the year 2023, Afrinet Carbon prides itself at being a youth-led entity. Through our business model, Africans can generate income from carbon sequestration while contributing to poverty reduction, clean energy adoption, and climate action. By facilitating the trade of carbon credits, Afrinet Carbon aims to address the limited access to carbon credits trading, economic vulnerability, and climate change impacts faced by Kenyan communities. The project aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically; SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy) and SDG 13 (Climate Action).

Our goals are as follows:
1. To increase access to carbon credits trading.
2. To facilitate economic empowerment.
3. To promote clean energy adoption.
4. To foster climate action and resilience.
