Everlasting Technology: Building Greener Communities
In Africa, the challenge of sustainable energy access is acute. Over 600 million people on the continent have no access to electricity, and countless more rely on inefficient, pollution-intensive fuels like firewood for daily needs. The consequences are both environmental and socio-economic, contributing to climate change and hindering growth.
We are deeply invested in Africa’s future, driving the region towards green, sustainable communities. Our mission in Africa is rooted in three pivotal goals:
1. Universal Energy Access: Every African household and business should have access to modern energy services. This not only lights homes but fuels education, healthcare, and economic opportunities.
2. Advancing Energy Efficiency: Doubling the rate of improvement in energy efficiency across Africa will reduce waste, cut emissions, and ensure that available resources benefit more people.
3. Boosting Renewable Energy: We are on a mission to double the share of renewable energy sources in Africa’s energy matrix. This will reduce the continent’s carbon footprint while securing a sustainable energy future.
