Investancia Group B.V is a leading agro-research and carbon project developer with tree propagation operations and registered reforestation projects in Paraguay and Brazil. The company was created to address the challenge of widespread degraded lands across Latin America through reforestation projects using native trees and perpetual trees that sequester atmospheric carbon and produce low-carbon transition feedstock commodities (2nd Gen Biofuel feedstocks for HVO, Bioprotein and Biochar).
Since 2011, Investancia has developed world-leading genetic intelligence and agroforestry techniques to ensure the successful reforestation of productive tree variants in the hostile climatic conditions of the Chaco (Paraguay) and Mato Grosso do Sul (Brazil).
Investancia partners with volume carbon buyers joining the company’s Verra-validated grouped ARR projects through bespoke “Reforestation as a Service” agreements. Under the Reforestation Agreements, carbon buyers obtain VCUs directly transferred to their Verra registry.
The company has its head office in Rotterdam, Netherlands. To execute the Reforestation projects, Investancia performs project management activities from its offices in the Paraguayan capital of Asuncion, nursery operations in Carmelo Peralta, and field operations throughout the Chaco in Alto Paraguay. The Brazilian reforestation activities are managed from the company’s tree propagation site in Porto Murtinho, Mato Grosso du Sul, Brazil.
