Maki Planet Systems is a climate tech company working to scale the practice of Savanna Fire Management globally to reduce carbon emissions and preserve the world’s savanna landscapes.
Our innovative approach involves using traditional fire management techniques to combat wildfires, reduce emissions, and promote carbon sequestration, with verifiable impact through rigorous fire monitoring and measurement.
In partnership with the International Savanna Fire Management Institute and Total Energies, in 2025 we will launch an international methodology to measure and verify emissions avoidance and generate the first global carbon credits from the practice of traditional fire management, driving rapid scale of this practice at a global level.
