It differs from alternatives that rely on forms or secondary data to calculate carbon footprint because of the following:
-Artificial Intelligence (AI)for data collection: Report carbon footprint with the best activity data available in the company, automatically collecting reliable information from a variety of sources, including enterprise systems such as SAP and other ERPs, as well as specialized industrial control systems (DCS), energy (EMS) and transportation (TMS).
-Carbon footprint automation in scopes 1, 2 and 3: Eliminate manually intensive and error-prone processes by automating measurement, reporting, and verification (MRV) processes. MOVIA AI analyzes, categorizes, and matches activity data with the most appropriate emission factors, enhancing accuracy while cutting down on inefficiencies and costs for businesses.
-High-precision activity proxies: In cases where direct activity data is not available (which is common in scope 3), MOVIA uses digital twins to model emission sources and obtain a highly accurate proxy from them, significantly reducing the efforts of collecting information from third parties. (as suppliers), and the need for additional hardware.
-Carbon footprint report with Generative AI: Generate coherent and reliable reports, including data, calculation methodologies, assumptions, and references required by the primary standards.
-Smart Internal Verification: Identify possible inconsistencies in emissions data using data intelligence, guaranteeing the quality of the report at lower cost and time.
-Reduction of operating costs and carbon footprint of critical activities: Integrate or add sensors on significant emission sources, such as vehicles, HVAC systems, boilers, and engines, for additional Energy Optimization layers
