Global Foundation for Climate Change Africa(GFCCA) is an non-profit organization actively operating in Kenya along the shores of L.Victoria. Having existed for the past two years, the organization has registered 1000 small-holder farmers that it trains on the regenerative concepts of agriculture, restoring over 2000 acres of degraded lands, enhancing food security, and impacting more than 20,000 households positively. The socio-economic impacts witnessed so far has been massive with the new permaculture concept gaining ground and interest from the vast majority of farmers.
We are happy to continue the good work and welcome all interested partners and friends to join us in impacting the lives of people in our local communities. Many of our programs include the care for biodiversity, soil restoration, carbon sequestration, regenerative agriculture and permaculture through our signature model, the Forest Farmland Agroforestry System.
Again, our Schools Regreening Initiative has gained momentum since its inception in 2024. We have visited many schools to educate young learners on how to adapt and mitigate the changing climate, being proactive and vocal at their young age. During such visitations, we donate and plant tree and fruit seedlings to such schools.
Our organization is committed to achieve its goals and mission through your support and feedback. Join the conversation through our website link at gfccafrica.org.
